4 Ways to Love Jesus More
Today's blog is brought to you my favorite sister, Elisabeth Harper. She is is the wonderfully wise and witty host of Today’s Tips on my Overcoming Monday Podcast, where she provides listeners with quick advice on beauty, fashion trends or applicable to-do’s for the subject of each season. Today she is sharing her fav tips on how to love God more than our dreams, in our community, with our future and more than ourselves. These tips are taken from my book and 9 week devotional I Love You More and our Overcoming Monday Episodes.
Loving Jesus more Than Our Dreams
1. Be willing to go. You may be unsure of the direction that the Lord is leading you, but keep your heart open to the Holy Spirit and willing to follow the Lord anywhere and watch Him move!
2. Let Him prepare you. Surrender your heart to the Lord's process, the Lord's timing surpasses our understanding.
3. Ask yourself, “What do I love more, Jesus or the dream I’m going after?” You May have to ask yourself this question several times along your journey in order to refocus your heart.
4. Remember that you don’t have to prove your worthy of your dream. Jesus has already approved you, now let Him train and teach you.
5. Simple and important, Jesus loves you and wants to give you the desires of your heart. He wants to plants them in you and then help you harvest them.

Loving Jesus More In Community
1. Let Jesus fill your love void. No one else can do this!
2. Look for friends that will help you run your race and finish life well!
3. Ask the Lord to help you put yourself on the shelf. There is joy in giving!
4. Believe the best in your friends
5. Keep your focus vertical. This allows the Lords love to fill you up and it will pour out on the relationships around you.
Loving Jesus More With Your Future
1. Ask yourself, “ what is Jesus calling me to?”
2. Take the risk! Your obedience will initiate Gods work.
3. Remember Gods calling for your will be unique to your gifts and personality( how awesome is this).
4. Know that this will not be easy at times, but it will be worth it all the time!
5. Don’t stop moving! Even baby steps help gain ground.

2. Ask the Lord what is clouding your love lens. Ask Him to show you what is keeping you from receiving all the love He has for you.
3. Receiving of the Lords love and the Lord cleaning our love lens comes from worship. “Worship teaches your heart to believe what your soul knows.”
4. Remember the Holy Spirit was sent to help us ( John 6:13). The battle of and for our hearts freedom is not one we have to fight alone. The Holy Spirit will lead you to the truth.
